Obtaining Your Best Outcome
Is My Top Priority
About Carson Nicolson
I am a lifelong resident of both Mobile and Baldwin Counties, Alabama. Childhood was spent going to school in Mobile during the winter and spending every minute possible in Mobile Bay during the summers. I have spent my entire legal career practicing law on both sides of the Bay and have good working relationships with the judges and the lawyers in both counties. Professionally, I have built my career by helping my clients fully understand their legal needs and guiding them to resolution. Over the course of 33 years practicing law, I have obtained deep experience across all areas of civil law and am confident both in a courtroom and analyzing and producing contracts and documents of all types. I have the skill and ability to solve problems and would be honored to help you with yours.
My Experience Working for You
I graduated from the University of Alabama cum laude in 1983 and went straight to law school. I earned my law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law where I was a Hugo Black Legal Scholar, the Student Works Editor of the Law Review, Order of the Coif, and a recipient of the School of Law’s highest academic honor the Dean M. Leigh Harrison Award. I began the practice of law with an established firm in Mobile and began to amass experience in a broad range of civil law. From 1987 until 2004, I practiced in the areas of litigation, real estate, consumer compliance, collections, defense from collections, juvenile matters, and appeals. I left the firm for private practice in 2004 to better manage my time to care for my growing family while adding the additional areas of domestic relations and family law to my repertoire.
With my children becoming college age, I joined a medium-sized firm in Baldwin County continuing my focus on a diverse civil practice. I became versed in probate litigation. I have found that my skills work well with those trying to protect their elderly or disabled loved ones.
Now, I have again begun a solo practice allowing me the freedom to spend more time with and develop the best solution for my clients. I am a member of the Baldwin County Bar Association, the Mobile Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and am certified to practice in United States District Courts for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Alabama. I take cases from across the state and from other states.
